Erasmus + Call for Projects 2016

I would like to inform you that the Erasmus+ Call recently has opened the New Call for 2016  projects. Please find below some information where Higher Education Institution might benefit. 



ERASMUS+ OPPORTUNITIES FOR INSTITUTIONS


Higher education institutions may apply in four main components: Credit mobility, Joint Master Degrees, Capacity Building for Higher Education, Jean Monnet and Sport Actions


PROJECTS “CAPACITY BUILDING  IN HIGHER EDUCATION”(FORMER TEMPUS PROJECTS),  including special mobility strand : DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS FEBRUARY 10, 2016.


Capacity-building projects in the field of higher education are transnational cooperation projects, based on multilateral partnerships, primarily between higher education institutions from Programme and eligible Partner Countries.

Joint Projects operate at micro level and target higher education institutions in the eligible Partner Countries specifically.

They aim to modernize and reform higher education institutions through activities such as:

  • Developing new curricula or improving existing ones;
  • Improving governance and management systems;
  • Building relationships between higher education institutions and relevant socio-economic actors.
  • Structural projects operate at macro level and target national higher education systems and policies in the eligible Partner Countries. They involve activities such as
  • Modernization of policies, governance and management of higher education systems;
  • Strengthening relations between higher education systems and the wider socio-economic environment.

Projects can involve, where relevant, NGOs, SMEs and any organizations in the field of higher education.


The Call for Proposals for capacity-building projects in the field higher education was published in November 2015. The deadline for submission of applications is 10 February 2016. Applicants will be notified and the results published in August 2016. The Grant Agreements should be signed in September 2016 and it is hoped that selected projects will be able to start in October 2016.

JEAN MONNET PROJECTS. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS  FEBRUARY 25, 2016


The Jean Monnet programme supports projects dedicated to teaching and research on the European integration process. It supports these projects and the professors, through key activities such as courses, research, conferences, and publications in the field of EU studies. Institutions and associations from all over the world will be able submit a proposal for a Jean Monnet project under an Erasmus+ Call for Proposals. Institutions must be legally recognized in their country of origin as Higher Education Institutions (university-level). Professors can apply directly to the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, in response to a published Call for Proposal.
