Open Lecture by Mrs. Lorenza Baroncelli

Department of Architecture invites all interested students and staff to the open lecture and discussions by Mrs. Lorenza Baroncelli on Monday 20th of April, 2 p.m. Ms. Lorenza Baroncelli will present “A stroll Through a Fun Palace” – The Swiss Pavilion for the 14th Venice Biennial including Rem Koolhaas’ ideas; a project shown in the gallery opened 2 months ago in collaboration with Joseph Grima (Former director of Domus Magazine) in Genova and a collaborative project with Stefano Boeri, Rem Koolhaas, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Tino Sehgal opening in Firenze for the Festival of Architecture in May 2016.

The open discussion will reflect on Ms. Baroncelli’s work with Hans Ulrich Obrist, Koolhaas, Sehalg, Boeri, showing how they work and what they think when they build something. The main questions will be: should architecture rethink its way of representation and what is the meaning of an architecture work?
