14th International Architecture Exhibition of Venice

“Finding the lost skyline of Gjirokastra” is the project which will be represented in this workshop in Italy. The project consists in the virtual restitution of the historical skyline of Gjirokastra alienated during the communist regime through the radical transformation of deconstruction of the religious buildings, through the study, re-drawing and modeling of the religious buildings. The theme of the project is currently a complementary part of the course ARCH411 Studio of Conservation and Restoration.

The Swiss Summer School is a network that aims to rethink the current infrastructure of the production of the knowledge for the approaching nonlinear, four-dimensional, and un-deterministic world. There are invited some of the best architectural universities of the world to exchange their researches and visions inside the Swiss Pavilion. They will spend a week there, and at the end they will leave behind the work they have developed.
